For what ages is GummyBox appropriate?
Although our boxes are designed for kids between ages 4 and 8, our activities are open-ended and versatile enough to be enjoyed by kids who range from 3 to 10. We carefully design open-ended activities so that children across ages can interact with the projects at various levels.
Do you have different boxes for boys and girls?
Our boxes are designed to appeal to both boys and girls. We test our themes and activities with kids to ensure that both boys and girls are engaged and interested.
What is included in each box?
Each box contains all the supplies you need for three projects around a surprise theme. We also include an activity booklet for kids to further explore each theme and reinforce their learnings from the projects.
I have more than one child. Can children share one box?
The decision to share will vary by family, although generally we recommend getting one box per child. We also offer the Sibling Add-On option; for an additional Rp. 150,000 per subscription per month, we’ll include extra materials for a second child to do the same activities. One add-on can be added per box.
Do you offer trial boxes?
We offer a limited number of trial boxes during promotional periods only.
Do all subscribers receive the same theme box each month?
Subscribers do not receive the same theme each month. Boxes are delivered to subscribers based on availability and your box history.
How do you come up with the box themes and activities?
We select themes that are educational and engaging enough to extend across many activities, such as art, reading, games, storytelling, and science. Our team brainstorms and designs activities according to the themes, and selects those that best encourage hands-on creativity, exploration, and fun.
Is GummyBox only available in English?
Yes. GummyBox is currently only available in English, but we would love to hear from you if you have a request for another language. Please e-mail us.
Do the activities in GummyBox require adult involvement?
On each project instruction book, we indicate the level of adult involvement required. We include written and illustrated instructions so that kids of different ages can lead their own activities, or follow along. Of course, we encourage parents to get involved anytime possible! Our handy Resource Card offers suggestions for parents to explore and do extra activities with their kids.
How messy are the activities?
We indicate the level of messiness on each project instruction book. Most activities can be completed within a small workspace. However, we recommend setting aside a proper workspace for your child to fully explore and interact with the projects.
Can I just buy one box?
At this time, we only offer our boxes on a subscription basis only.
How big is the box?
The box is 26 x 20 x 10 cm.
What are my payment options?
You can pay online via credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or bank transfer (PT Aria Cipta Perkasa - GummyBox - BCA: 0284119009). Please contact us by e-mail if you have issues with payment.
When will I be billed for my subscription?
Month-to-month subscriptions are charged the monthly cost when you first purchase a subscription, and then on the 1st business day of the month for every subsequent month you are subscribed. Three- and six-month subscriptions are billed in full at the time of purchase. Please note that GummyBox operates according to the Indonesian public holiday calendar.
Will my subscription automatically renew?
Month-to-month subscriptions are automatically renewed on the 1st business day of the month. Please note that GummyBox operates according to the Indonesian public holiday calendar. We do not automatically renew three- or six-month subscriptions without your consent. However, one month before the expiration of your subscription, we will send you an e-mail for you to review your renewal options.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your month-to-month subscription via e-mail on or before the 25th calendar day of the month to cancel for the following month. For example, if you would like to cancel the box delivered in May, you will have to submit your cancellation request by April 20th. Your subscription will be cancelled following our confirmation via e-mail. Unfortunately, we do not offer a cancellation option for three- or six-month subscriptions.
Can I return a box if I do not like the projects in it?
We try to ensure that our activities are enjoyable for you and your child. If an activity did not work out for you, please send us your feedback by e-mail. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns.
Where do GummyBox subscriptions ship? Is shipping free?
We offer free shipping across Indonesia for subscription boxes. At this time, GummyBox does not ship outside of Indonesia but we would love to hear from you if you have a request. Please e-mail us.
When will I receive my first box?
Once your payment is confirmed by e-mail from us, we will deliver your first box within 5 business days. We deliver only one box on the month of your first delivery. For example, if you place your order on May 1st, you will receive your first and only box of the month within 5 business days. Subsequent monthly deliveries will follow the standard schedule of delivery by the 20th calendar day of each month. However, if you place your order at the end of the month and 5 business days after that falls into the next month, you will only receive one box in that next month. For example, if you place your order on August 27th, you will receive your first in September and that will be the only box you receive that month. Subsequent monthly deliveries will follow the standard schedule of delivery. Please note that GummyBox operates according to the Indonesian public holiday calendar.
When are monthly subscription boxes delivered?
Monthly subscription boxes are delivered by the 15th calendar day of each month. Adjustments may apply depending on public holiday and weekend schedules. Please note that GummyBox operates according to the Indonesian public holiday calendar.
How do I update my shipping address?
You can update your shipping address on gummybox.com. Log in to your account and select “Shipping Address” under “Account Information.” Please note that address updates must be made by the 1st business day of each month to take effect for the delivery in that same month. GummyBox operates according to the Indonesian public holiday calendar.
Can I give GummyBox as a gift?
Of course! When placing your order online, just enter the shipping address of your gift recipient. You will need to create an account first on gummybox.com.
Do gift subscriptions automatically renew?
For month-to-month gift subscriptions, we will automatically renew each month. However, for your privacy and security, we do not automatically renew gift subscriptions for 3- and 6-month subscriptions.
Are your past boxes available to purchase individually?
